Winter Park Fun! (Day 5)

My brother told us about all the fun he had at Winter Park Resort for Father's Day, so we decided to spend our last full day in Colorado there. During the winter months, it is a ski resort, full of little shops and ski-in/ski-out places. Absolutely adorable! During the summer months, they host a ton of activities that you can buy tickets to individually, or with an all access pass, which is unlimited. We chose the unlimited pass.

We all had fun with the Alpine Slide (some call it a Toboggan Slide--quite similar to the one we experienced in China) and the Human Maze, finding all the letters to win a prize. The kids also enjoyed rock climbing and a bounce house. We didn't do the bungee jumping or mini-golf, because the Alpine Slide took the cake as everyone's favorite activity!

Sweet cousins on the Bounce House!

 Avalynn LOVES the rock wall!!

Daddy & Kalea headed up to the Alpine Slide on the chair lift!

The weather was beautiful out and the setting was nestled right in the mountains, making for a great place to allow parents to rest (if you choose) and kids to play! We all had a BLAST! And of course, Zoe was a total celebrity with all the small kids--thankfully she was a total trooper and was patient through it all!

We made sure to get a couple pics of all the kids together, even one in age order! Then we headed out for dinner a neat little local brewery/bistro before finishing the evening at a park.

We had such a great time in Colorado and are so thankful we could spend these days with Jonny's family! Everyone was sad we had to leave for our next destination, but we look forward to their visit to San Antonio in the future!!

Next stop, the Black Hills!!
